Overview

What is a landing page, and why do ads need one?

A landing page is a single page built for one audience and one action. Someone clicks your ad, lands on the page, and either books, calls, buys or fills in a form. No menu full of distractions, no hunting for the offer.

Many small businesses send paid traffic to their homepage. The homepage has to speak to everyone, so it rarely speaks clearly to the person who just clicked an ad about one specific thing. That person is busy and on a phone. If they cannot see what they clicked for within a few seconds, they hit back, and you have still paid for the click.

Our landing page and conversion optimization service builds pages that turn more of the visitors you already have into leads and customers. Conversion rate optimization (CRO) simply means improving the share of visitors who take the action you want, by testing and fixing what gets in their way.

What is message match, and why does it matter so much?

Message match means the page says what the ad promised, in roughly the same words, with the same offer. If your ad says "Same-day water heater repair in Austin, $50 off", the page headline should say the same, not "Welcome to Smith Plumbing, family owned since forever."

Think of it like a shop window. If the window shows a winter coat sale and the door opens onto a garden center, people walk out confused, even if the garden center is lovely.

Why it matters: visitors decide in seconds whether they are in the right place. Good message match reassures them immediately. It also helps your ad account: Google Ads considers landing page experience as part of Quality Score, which affects how your ads are ranked and what you pay for clicks. We match pages to ad groups, keywords, audiences or specific ad creatives, so each group of clicks lands on a page that continues the same conversation.

What is included

Ad landing pages and offer pages

Dedicated pages for a service, a promotion, a location or an audience. Each one has a clear headline, the offer, proof you genuinely have (real reviews, licenses, guarantees you actually offer, photos of your work), answers to the obvious objections and one obvious next step. Why it matters: one focused page usually beats a general page for paid traffic, because it removes guesswork for the visitor.

Form and booking flow fixes

Forms are where many leads quietly disappear. We cut unnecessary fields, fix confusing steps, make sure forms work on every phone, add tap-to-call and connect booking tools properly. Why it matters: a small fix to a broken or tiring form can matter more than any redesign.

Page speed

We compress images, trim heavy scripts and keep layouts lean so pages appear quickly on mobile connections. Why it matters: a slow page loses people before they read a single word, and you have already paid for their click.

Conversion tracking

We set up Google Analytics 4 and the conversion tracking your ad platforms need, such as Google Ads conversions and the Meta pixel with the Conversions API, for forms, calls and bookings. Why it matters: without reliable tracking, the ad platforms cannot optimize toward real leads, and you cannot tell which page or campaign is paying for itself.

A/B testing

An A/B test shows two versions of a page to different visitors at the same time and measures which one gets more conversions. We test things that are likely to matter: the headline, the offer, the form, the call to action, the order of the page. Why it matters: testing replaces opinions ("I think the blue button is better") with evidence.

When does A/B testing make sense, and when does it not?

A/B testing needs enough traffic and enough conversions to reach a trustworthy answer. If a page gets a handful of leads a month, a test could run for a very long time and still not tell you anything reliable. In that case, we will not pretend otherwise. Instead, we make improvements based on clear best practice, user session recordings, form analytics and talking to your team about what customers ask, then compare results over time with that limitation stated plainly.

When traffic is high enough, we set up proper tests using a dedicated testing tool, run them long enough to account for weekday and weekend differences, and report what we learned, including tests that did not win. A test that loses still teaches you something.

How we work

  1. Free growth audit. Request a free growth audit. Within two business days, you get a plain-English review of your current pages, tracking and the biggest leaks we can see.
  2. Fixed-price quote. We agree on which pages, which tests and which fixes, at a fixed price you approve before we start.
  3. Research. We read your ads, search terms, reviews and competitor pages, and ask your team what customers ask on the phone. The best page copy usually comes from real customer questions.
  4. Write, design and build. Copy first, then a mobile-first design, then the build on your existing platform or a landing page tool that suits you.
  5. Test tracking and launch. We submit every form, click every button and confirm each conversion shows up in your analytics and ad accounts.
  6. Measure and improve. For ongoing CRO, we run tests or improvements each month and send a monthly plain-English report covering what changed, what we learned and what we will try next.

During projects, you get weekly written updates, and we reply to messages within one business day.

What you will not get from us

No honest agency can guarantee a conversion rate, a number of leads or a return on ad spend. Results depend on your offer, prices, market, reviews and how quickly your team follows up on leads. What we do guarantee is the agreed work at the agreed price, honest reporting, and that every page, file and account is yours. We also do not use fake countdown timers, invented "only 2 left" claims or made-up testimonials. They can lift numbers briefly, but they erode trust and can break advertising policies and consumer protection rules.

How much do landing pages and CRO cost?

Landing pages start from $500 for a single page built on your existing site or landing page tool, with copy, design, tracking and form testing. The price grows with:

  • The number of pages or ad-specific variations
  • Whether we write all copy from scratch or refine yours
  • Custom design work, illustrations or video
  • Booking, CRM or payment integrations
  • Ongoing A/B testing and monthly CRO, which we quote as a month-to-month service with no lock-in

Ad spend is always separate and paid by you directly to the ad platform.

Who is this not a good fit for?

  • Businesses with almost no traffic yet. A great page with no visitors converts nobody, so start with traffic first.
  • Offers that are not competitive. A better page cannot fix a price or service people do not want, though we will tell you if we think that is the real issue.
  • Anyone who wants a guaranteed conversion rate, or tactics that rely on misleading visitors.

How it connects with our other services

Landing pages do their best work paired with well-run ads. We build pages to match campaigns from our Google Ads management and Meta ads management services, so the ad and the page are planned together instead of by two teams who never talk. If your whole site needs work, not just one page, see our website design service.

What's included

Built to bring in clients, not just look good.

01

Message match

Each page repeats the promise and offer from the ad people clicked, so visitors know instantly they are in the right place and are more likely to take action.

02

Offer-focused pages

One audience, one offer, one clear next step. Focused pages remove the distractions of a general homepage and make it easy for paid visitors to call, book or buy.

03

Form and booking fixes

We trim fields, fix confusing steps and test every form on real phones. Broken or tiring forms are where many paid leads quietly disappear without anyone noticing.

04

Page speed work

Compressed images, lean scripts and simple layouts help pages load quickly on mobile, so you stop paying for clicks from people who leave before the page appears.

05

Reliable conversion tracking

GA4, Google Ads conversions and Meta pixel with Conversions API, tested end to end. Accurate tracking lets ad platforms optimize toward real leads instead of empty clicks.

06

Honest A/B testing

We test headlines, offers and forms when you have enough traffic for a trustworthy answer, and tell you plainly when you do not, using other evidence instead.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need a landing page for Google Ads?

You do not strictly need one, but a page that matches the ad usually converts better than a general homepage. Google also considers landing page experience in Quality Score, which affects ad rank and cost per click.

What is a good landing page conversion rate?

It varies widely by industry, offer, price and traffic source, so we are wary of one-size benchmarks. The useful comparison is your own page before and after changes, measured with reliable tracking.

How long should an A/B test run?

Until it has enough conversions to give a trustworthy answer, and at least a full week or two to cover weekday and weekend differences. Low-traffic pages may never reach a clear result, and we will tell you that upfront.

Can you build landing pages on my existing website?

Usually, yes. We can build on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or a dedicated landing page tool. We recommend whichever is easiest for you to keep and edit.

How much does a landing page cost?

Landing pages start from $500 for a single page with copy, design, tracking and form testing. Multiple pages, integrations or ongoing testing cost more, and you get a fixed quote first.

Can you guarantee more leads?

No honest agency can, because your offer, market and follow-up speed all play a part. We guarantee the agreed work, the price, clear reporting and that you own every page and account.
